We are pleased to announce the International Workshop on Ferroelectric Nitrides (IWFN), a dedicated gathering for the theory, growth, characterization, and application of the world’s most versatile new ferroelectrics. Nitride ferroelectrics are redefining the boundaries of nonvolatile memory, acoustoelectrics, and piezo-MEMs, while pushing the limits of high-temperature and high-frequency electronics and quantum technologies through their extreme thermal stability and superior piezoelectric, acoustic, and nonlinear optical properties. This workshop features deep dives into epitaxial synthesis and next-generation device engineering, with a special focus on the future of high-temperature electronics. IWFN is the nexus where fundamental materials science meets the future of scalable microelectronics.
